BOARDING SERVICES

Boarding pets- Rabies, Bordatella, and Distemper vaccines must be current  If past due when making a reservation you will be requested to schedule a vaccine appointment at least one week prior to arrival.  Other vaccines may be adminstered during boarding.

A $40 boarding deposit will be required per pet at time of reservation.  cancellations are expected seven days in advance.  your reservation will not be held without a deposit.

For Clients with special needs pets:  please read this section carefully.

Any pet that is a Diabetic or has a history of Seizures will be required to stay in Hospital Boarding.  The cost for hospital boarding is $50 per day.  Animals with these conditions require 24-7 observation, and monitoring; which they cannot get in our regular boarding area.  If you have questions or concerns, please call and speak with any member of our reception team.

As of July 2009, New Protocol for boarders with Diarrhea

Day one- Diarrhea starts. No treatment.  See if resolves on its own.
Day two- diarrhea continues, Kennel staff will then add *Fortiflora to a bland diet to see if there is any improvement.

Day three- Diarrhea still continuing, we will then collect a fecal sample to check for any parasites or bacteria.  You will be notified, and your Vet will determine the right treatment plan for your pets health and benefit.

We are very proud of our boarding facility and take great pride in providing your pet with the most comfortable stay possible in your absence.  Our facility has been recognized several years in a row by Washington area publications and our boarding facility continues to rapidly grow in popularity.  We strongly urge you to make your boarding reservations as far in advance as possible.  While your pet is in our care, the following services are automatically provided for our standard boarding fees:

• DOGS - All dogs are provided individual housing in our air-conditioned/heated kennels.  They are provided Hill's Science Diet (Sensitive Stomach) food and plenty of fresh water.  You may provide us with your dog's own diet.  Dogs are individually leash walked at least three times per day.  You may request a discounted boarding bath for $18 which is given the morning that you indicate you are picking up your pet.
• CATS - Cats are housed in our cat condominiums and most have a view of the outdoors.  Each condo has a napping perch that the cats really love.  You may request connecting condos, space permitting, for your multiple cats.  The cats are fed Friskies or Nine Lives, provided with plenty of fresh water, and each have a clean litter pan.

Our fee schedule for boarding is, per day, including the day your pet is checked in through, and including, the day checked out.  The fees are as follows:

ADDITIONAL BOARDING SERVICES AVAILABLE:

• Boarder Medications:  $6/per Day  If your pet is on medication while boarding, there is a charge per day for administering the medications due.
• In addition to the medication charge, you must provide us with the original bottle/container.  We cannot accept medications brought in plastic bags, containers, or pill boxes (no exceptions!)  If you do not bring the meds in their original bottles, we will have to rescript the meds at an additional charge.
  
• Pool Time (Dogs)  $7/Day :  Many dogs LOVE to splash and play in water on a hot summer day!  We offer individual supervised pool time for dogs.
• Ball/Frisbee Games (Dogs)  $7/Day :  For our canine friends who love to retrieve, this is a great way for them to have a lot of fun.  This is individual "off lead" exercise in a safe and fenced area.
• Arts and Crafts (Dogs & Cats)  $30 :  Your pet can participate in Arts and Crafts and make a "Clay Paw" for you.  This is a clay mold of your special friend's paw that makes for a wonderful keepsake for you to take home.
• Playtime (Cats)  $7/Day :  Individual, supervised, interactive playtime is available for your feline friend.  We have a large assortment of cat toys and a climbing tree for your cat to enjoy.
